Although I didn't specialise in weaving I still really enjoyed the process and outcomes I created. With this project, I was able to experiment with colour freely and introduce texture and pattern into my design. The project was focused on emotion aided design where the colour, patterns and textures linked to a feeling about a particular place and setting.

I chose to represent through my design was Buck's Rock a summer camp I worked at in America. I wanted to express how playful and exciting I found working at camp. I focused on using fancy colourful yarn with a lot of texture, and my mood board captures this.

This diamond shape was taken from an eye which is a symbol of Bucks Rock.

This was an idea of how I could represent hands like in the image beside this one. I also want to have an explosion of colour within the softer colours to depict the nature surrounding the camp.

Colours textures and patterns all combined into one to represent the busyness and chaos of the camp.
